AC Hotels by Marriott have more than 90 locations in Italy, Portugal, and Spain and are now bringing this concept to Kansas City.
The former Q Hotel and Spa at 560 Westport Road, is being redesigned and is set to open sometime in November as the AC by Marriott. This is only the companies second location in United States with the first being New Orleans which is set to open later this month.
Designed to attract the millennial generation, AC Hotels by Marriott feature sophisticated European style with approachable design for a distinctly urban feel for each of its locations.
The new Westport hotel, which has 123 rooms, will boasts some of the most unique offerings and amenities in the hotel industry including: mobile check-in, USB charging stations, a fitness center, and a “media salon” featuring Bluetooth technology for business meetings. The AC lounge and bar will serve beer only in cans, have wine on tap and offer a variety of cocktails as well as small plates.
