After spending nearly 17 years in the Waldo neighborhood, the locally owned and operated bakery has moved downtown to the Crossroads.
Locally owned and operated, Farm to Market Bread Company is a Kansas City success story. Established in 1993 by Master Bread Maker Mark Friend, in the back of the Classic Cup in Westport, the company started out trading bread for rent. After quickly finding a loyal following, Farm to Market Bread Company moved into the Waldo neighborhood where it stayed from 1995-2012.
Farm to Market Bread Company seeks to provide the freshest possible artisan breads to restaurants, grocery stores and catering services across the Metro. All bread is produced by hand, using exclusively natural ingredients.
