On Sunday, April 7th, The American Restaurant will host Saber! A Celebration for JJ’s. This event will bring Kansas City’s finest chefs and beverage vendors together to pay homage to the food and beverages, classic entrees and fabulous wine dinner pairings that were loved by so many.

The event includes tasting stations, silent auction and a “Hall of Fame” wine silent auction – many of these bottles will be signed by JJ’s owner, Jimmy Frantze.

Saber! will take place from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with Jimmy sabering a bottle of champagne at 7 p.m. Valet and garage parking available.

Mike Savage will be donating an original painting of JJ’s (the Saber logo), valued at $2,300 for the silent auction and plans to sell prints with a percentage of proceeds going back to the fund. All money raised will be donated to the JJ’s Staff Assistance Fund managed by Country Club Bank.
