Stone Crab season began October 15 and only appear on the menus of select restaurants. Flown in fresh from the Florida Keys and highly sustainable, Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Leawood is one of lucky restaurants to be able feature these delectable Stone Crabs.
To kick off the Crab Season event, Sullivan’s hosted a red carpet reception and chef demonstration. Crab Season will last through May 15.
This will be quite a treat for us Mid-Westerners to be able to order Stone Crabs as a special throughout the season.
