The amazing people over at Noodles and Company are giving away a pair of dining vouchers to one of my lucky readers. They have also sent me the recipe for their popular BBQ Mac and Cheese recipe to share with you as well. To enter for the vouchers just comment below on what your favorite dish is there.

In the meantime, try out the mac and cheese recipe in your own kitchen.
Noodles and Company BBQ Pork Mac and Cheese
Serves 4 -6
Ingredients:
Cheese sauce:
· 1 pint cream
· 6 oz cheese (your choice)
· 1 Tb. Butter
· 1 Tb. flour
· Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:
· Mix the butter and flour together in your hands and set aside.
· Bring the cream to a low simmer in a thick bottomed pot.
· Add the butter/ flour blend and stir with a whisk until smooth and slightly thickened (about 5 minutes)
· Take the pot off the heat, add the cheese and whisk until smooth, season to taste.

BBQ Pork:
· 4 lb pork roast (shoulder or butt)
· 1 – 18 oz bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce (reserve ¼ cup for garnish)
· 1 medium onion, diced
·
Preparation:
· Place pork and onion in crock pot and cover with bottle of BBQ sauce (minus the reserved) and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until tender and falling apart.
· Pull pork and stir into BBQ sauce so the pork is evenly coated.
·
Assemble:
· Pour the cheese sauce over, 1 lb. Macaroni noodles (cooked and drained according to box directions).
· Sprinkle 6 oz. shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the noodles.
· Place 12 oz of BBQ shredded pork in the center of the dish
· Drizzle BBQ sauce over the top of the entire dish and garnish with 1/4 cup of crispy onions.

The Hen House Holiday Celebration is packed full of fun again this year. Along with over 80 food displays with tastings and samples, guests will be entertained by Celebrity Chef and Food Network Star, Ted Allen, along with Celebrated Chef, Television Personality, Restaurateur & Cookbook Author, Lidia Bastianich.
Designed to provide families with holiday cooking and entertaining ideas, the event also provides guests with a coupon book of over $130 in savings and free items, food samples and tastings, a reusable Hen House bag and a weekend of fun demos and events.
Entertainment highlights:
- Friday, 11/2, 11am and 1pm – Ted Allen, Host of Chopped
- Saturday, 11/3, 1pm – Lidia Bastianich, Host of Lidia’s Italy
- Saturday, 11/3, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm and 4:30pm – Purina Incredible Dog Team
- Saturday, 11/3, 3:45pm – Chef Mark Alan hosts the Aspiring Student Chef Competition
- Sunday, 11/4, 1pm – Chef Jasper hosts the Professional Chef Challenge
- Sunday, 11/4, 3pm – Rappin’ Reggie shares a good message with the kids through song
- Throughout the weekend, chefs will be on stage demonstrating holiday entertainment ideas, easy to cook low cost meals for the family and much more.
Harvesters will receive the food on display after the event closes, and Toys for Tots will bring in the Marines to collect toys on Sunday in exchange for free admission to the event. New unwrapped toys are requested with a value of $10 or more.
The Hen House Holiday Celebration is open to the public and single day admission tickets can be purchased in advance at all Hen House locations for $5 or at the event for $7. Children 12 and under are free.
Two winners will be drawn and each winner will receive two tickets.
